Jeffrey Liu is a Sydney-based recording artist, songwriter, and Actors. As a musician, Jeffrey dreams of penning radio hits as a songwriter and advocating for the queer Chinese-Australian experience through his artist project JËVA. In 2015 Jeffrey undertook two years of training at WAAPA, studying contemporary music to develop his artistry. Since releasing his debut pop EP ‘Typhoon’ in late 2021, JËVA has accrued over 100k streams on Spotify as an Independent artist, sold out his headline show at The Vanguard Sydney and has played to a crowd of thousands at Mardi Gras Fair Day ‘22 and World Pride ’23. Known for his charismatic stage presence, Jeffrey was scouted by Ra Chapman to play the role of Kim Han (a K-Pop Star) in her Patrick White Playwright Award winning play 'K-Box' to which made his acting debut in the critically acclaimed Malthouse Theatre production. Jeffrey made his musical theatre debut with the star studded cast of the ‘The Lucky Country’ with Hayes Theatre Co before joining the national tour of Michelle Law's 'Miss Peony' with Belvoir St Theatre
