With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Toni Pearen is the original TV pop- princess who has successfully worked as an actress, singer, songwriter, TV presenter and writer. Toni’s acting credits include television roles on Home & Away, Out of the Blue, JAG, E-Street, A Country Practice and Tough Nuts.
Toni appeared in the mini-series by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, The Pacific. She played the lead role of Angela in Australian film, All Men are Liars and played supporting roles on the feature’s, On the Dead Side and Colin Fitz Lives. From 2003 for 5 years Toni brought laughter to Australian living rooms as the host of Australia’s Funniest Home Video’s and has hosted numerous TV programmes including Red Music Television, Video Smash Hits, Coca-Cola Take 40 and also featured in Celebrity Circus, Dancing With The Stars and Abbamania. Toni’s early music career saw her grace the ARIA top 10 charts twice with her singles In Your Room and I Want You, both of which went on to receive gold certification.
Toni’s theatrical work includes the Perth Theatre Company’s Stories from Suburban Roads and the Brisbane Lyric Theatre’s Return to the Forbidden Planet. Now a mother of 2 children, she has returned to our screens as the host of Ch.10’s lifestyle program, Let’s Do Coffee. She’s also a regular panellist on Weekend Sunrise and Studio 10. Toni’s latest adventure has been on the Network 10 show ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’. Toni has been so challenged by this experience, proving to herself that she is brave beyond her wildest dreams. Toni wanted to push herself and face all her fears by taking part in this show. She’s also sharing her experience and knowledge as co-creator of The Talent Co. An acting and performance school catering to children and teens.
