Jeffrey Liu is a Recording Artist, Songwriter, and Actor based in Sydney.
In 2015 Jeffrey undertook two years of training at WAAPA, studying contemporary music to develop his artistry. Since releasing his debut pop EP ‘Typhoon’ in late 2021, JËVA has accrued over 70k streams on Spotify as an Independent artist, sold out his headline show at The Vanguard Sydney and has played to a crowd of thousands at Mardi Gras Fair Day ‘22.
Known for his charismatic stage presence, Jeffrey was scouted by Ra Chapman to play the role of Kim Han (a K-Pop Star) in her Patrick White Playwright Award winning play 'K-Box' to which Jeffrey made his acting debut in the critically acclaimed Malthouse Theatre production. In 2023, Jeffrey joins the star studded cast of 'The Lucky Country' with Hayes Theatre Co.
As a musician, Jeffrey dreams of penning radio hits as a songwriter and advocating for the queer Chinese-Australian experience through his artist project JËVA.
