About
Gelina is a proud Filipina-Australian who is passionate about diversity and representation in the arts.
She made her professional theatre debut as Swing and Assistant Choreographer in the new Australian musical, The Deb (ATYP), then joined Dubbo Champion Wrestling (Hayes Theatre Company) as Assistant Choreographer. Prior, she had worked as both cast and creative in the sold-out season of Heathers: The Musical (The Mitchell Old Company). She has performed in Packemin Productions’ Jesus Christ Superstar, Mamma Mia, and We Will Rock You, and recently worked as Choreographer for their production Les Miserables.
A rising star in the industry, Gelina is honoured to be making her Opera Australia debut in Miss Saigon in 2023.
