Charlie Dakin is an actor from London, England but has been living in Sydney for the past nine years and is currently in his final year of a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Stage and Screen) at Actors Centre Australia. His passion for performing was sparked at just three years old and the desire to act hasn't burned out since, leading him down a path that would find him training at one of Australia's top conservatories. Charlie is interested in work in both stage and screen and is enthralled by challenging roles, always looking for the next thing to increase his flexibility as a performer and to add more skills to his toolkit. While studying at the Actors Centre, Charlie has has the privilege of playing roles like Michael in 'Dancing at Lughnasa' and Puck in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', as well as the honour of being directed by visionaries like Adam Cook and Lizzie Schebesta. As Charlie gears up to complete his final year and enter the industry with three years of training under his belt, he is keen to sink his teeth into all types of different work and continue to grow as an artist.
Charlie has also been learning guitar for the past three years and has a strong love of music, film and television as well as being an avid reader.
