Carlia Capozza is a passionate actor and filmmaker. Carlia’s love for acting started as a teen, performing in children’s theatre in the Adelaide Fringe on multiple occasions.
She completed the Australian Film and Television Academy (TAFTA) Full Time Program in 2018 and soon after, became the coordinator of the program.
Her film credits include multiple films and music videos, including filming with Tones and I in her hit ‘Fly Away’ and Masked Wolf in ‘Say So’. She played the lead ‘Joy’ in STAG Theatre’s production of ‘The Tin Woman’ and is featured in the feature film ‘Apparitions’ by Perri Cummings and Paul Nelson.
Carlia has not only been active in this industry in front of the camera, but has been working closely with Production Companies behind the camera, ranging from First AD, to Producer, to Director. Carlia worked as a First AD on the feature film ‘In God’s Care’, directed by Nick Kozakis, as well as playing a local police officer in the film.
