Emily has always had an outgoing and curious personality, which lead her to begin vocal lessons at 7 years old. Her love for the arts grew resulting to her picking up dance and acting lessons not long after.
Emily made her professional Musical Theatre debut as the leading role of 'Frankie Healy' in the critically acclaimed musical Jagged Little Pill Australia from 2021-22. She worked alongside industry vetrans such as Natalie Bassinthwaite and Tim Draxl.
Emily’s screen credits include a lead in ‘The Funny Ones’ documentary as herself for ABC ME’S International day of the girl specials; 3 seasons on ‘News of the Wild’ a children’s series on 7two as well as various TV advertisements over the years for Nickelodeon, Big W and Aldi. Emily has also sung competitively including at Sydney Eisteddfod where she won first place in her Musical Theatre section (2018). She has also sung at Talent quests and happened to win both Five Dock and Burwood’s quests. She trained at NFTA for acting and was lucky enough to compete in an international acting competition with them in Los Angeles (IMTA) and won her division whilst there.
She is very honoured to have been able to represent Jagged little Pill by being the first Zimbabwean-Australian to sing the national anthem at the 2022 State of Origin kick off.
