Based in Sydney Australia, Tanika Douglas played the lead role in ‘Crush’, a short film that garnered worldwide festival success, and was nominated for an Australian Screen Editors Guild Award. Tanika has worked on many projects, most notably playing the lead role of Courtney in Foxtel’s ‘Facing Evil: The Courtney Schulhoff Story’, and Stef in the AACTA award-nominated ‘Sammy’, a short film by Deadhouse Films, as well as a range of commercials, and films. Since beginning acting at the age of twelve, Tanika has attended The Australian Film and Television Academy in both Sydney and Los Angeles, among other acting schools, and has worked with a large number of talented teachers, and many well respected Australian and American directors and casting directors. Outside of acting, Tanika works as a Food Blogger and Presenter (@tanikadouglas_) and has appeared in a number of Buzzfeed Australia Videos presenting recipes. To date, the videos have totalled over 1.4 million views on YouTube. Tanika is consistently working on her continual growth as an actress, and further developing her exciting career.
